The Cheltenham Festival highlights the start of the National Hunt jump season with 12 months of anticipation unleashed over 4 compelling days. The festival is made up of 26 races and approximately 500 horses that are all competing for the £3 million of prize money. Kauto Star won the Gold Cup race by galloping effortlessly in perfect rhythm past the winning post in 2009. It may well be the turn of something younger in 2010 with a number of rising stars anticipated.
