2015 Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix Break
The 8th race of the F1 season sees the top drivers in the world do battle back in Austria. Up until 2014, Austria had an 11 year absence from the Formula 1 calendar but after a successful race in 2014, Formula 1 will return to the Red Bull Ring in 2015. Formerly the Österreichring, then the A1 Ring, the newly named Red Bull Ring combines history with modern facilities, making it a great venue for spectators. In 2014 Nico Rosberg won his third Grand Prix of the season at the Red Bull Ring, team mate and rival Lewis Hamilton managed a second place finish and the Englishman will be looking to go one better at next years event. Until recent years, Austria hosted Formula 1 Grand Prix Races on a regular basis, from 1970-1987 at the Österreichring, from 1997-2003 at the A1 Ring and now at the Red Bull Ring Austria is adding a new chapter to their Formula 1 history. The break has allowed the circuit to undergo major renovations resulting in a fantastic venue to watch a Formula 1.
