Houses of Parliament

Buda Castle

Also known as the Royal Palace the Buda Castle is actually a grouping of several structures built and re built over the centuries.

 

Buda Castle Funicular

Opened in 1870, this funicular railway was destroyed in World War 2. This was restored in 1986 and continues to haul visitors up to the Buda Castle.

Vaci Utca

The buzzing heart of Budapest positively throbs with atmospheric pubs, bars and boutiques. This is the hub of Budapest.

 

Gellert Baths

Renovated in 2007, these are the best known and probably most luxurious baths in Budapest, with soaring columns and stained-glass windows.
