Le Mans Airtrack Village

There are two types of pitches available for camping in the Airtrack Village.

THE STANDARD PITCH
A standard grass pitch has an area of 40 sq metres - either 8m X 5m or 4m X 10m. It has a maximum capacity to accommodate up to 4 people in a tent plus one standard size vehicle. You can have as many tents as you like but they must all fit in the area allocated.

HALF PITCH
Designed to accommodate up to 2 people in an area of 20 sq metres. Ideal for motor bikes.

Additional Extras:

- Electrical Connection (3amps)
- Hire of erected 2/3 man or 3/4 man tent
- Helicopter experience

The centre of the action in the Village is the ‘Airtrack Arms’. The Arms will be offering a cash bar with beer on tap, wine and soft drinks, with a projection screen providing coverage of the race and many other sporting events during the weekend.

The Airtrack Arms opening hours will be:

Wednesday 9th June – 12:00 – 24:00
Thursday 10th June 12:00 – 24:00
Friday 11th June 12:00 – 02:00 (Saturday morning – Party Night)
Saturday 12th June 12:00 – Sunday 13th June 24:00

We are pleased to announce that following on from a successful 2009 and 2010, our experienced chefs, who have worked for various F1 teams, will be returning to provide outstanding food for your Le Mans weekend.  Rocket and Radish was set up by Steve Morris and Jamie Gibbs to deliver the highest quality of food, whatever the location! Enjoy one of their specialties a hog roast on the Friday evening or wake up to a daily full English breakfast. One of Rocket and Radishes key principals is sustainability and you can guarantee all produce is sourced from local French suppliers, fresh on a daily basis. Steve and Jamie have become a huge part of our team, delivering high levels of customer service and year on year exceeding customer expectations.

Lunch  - Thursday 10th – Sunday 13th June  12:00 – 14:00
Dinner  -Wednesday 9th – Sunday 13th June  19:00 – 21:00

This very popular trip is an essential part of the Le Mans experience. The Mulsanne Straight is where the cars are reaching their maximum speed of well over 200 mph and at night with their lights full on is one of the all time great spectacles of motor racing.

The Arnage / Indianapolis section sees the cars emerging through the trees as they exit the right-hand corner, sweep through Indianapolis and speed and brake into the Arnage Corner, finally disappearing towards Virage Porsche.

To enhance your experience during this excursion we have world class experts to give you a guided tour of what is happening and what has happened at these famous points of the circuit

• Open for early arrivals Tuesday before the race - the main opening for the Airtrack Arms, Reception and Restaurant is Wednesday
• Designated 40 square metre pitches for a single vehicle and up to 4 guests

• 24 hour security from Wednesday until Monday

• The Village will close on the Monday after the race at 10:00
• Access to the campsite is strictly controlled with official passes for both people and vehicles. This must be displayed for entry.
• Full pitches are designed for one standard car and half pitches are designed for Motorbikes.
• When requiring adjacent pitches, these must be of the same type, ie 2 x Full Pitch, or 2 X Pitch with or without electric. We can provide a mixture of pitches however these will not be together.
• The electrical supply is limited to a maximum of 3 amps per connection. Units requiring a larger supply should contact our reservations for a quotation.
• Facilities include toilets and showers that are maintained to the highest standard throughout the weekend.
• Cold water supply will be available for both cooking and domestic use.
