The Last Supper
Located in the church of Santa Maria del Grazie, The Last Supper is arguably Leonardo Da Vinci’s finest piece of work and certainly one of his most famous. Buying your ticket in to Santa Maria del Grazie before travelling to Milan is recommended as waiting lists can be up to 4 weeks during peak times.
The Duomo
The first Duke of Milan commissioned Italy’s grandest Gothic cathedral before his death in 1402. The third largest Christian church in the world and the artistic apex of the flamboyant Gothic, Milan’s Duomo is almost encrusted with statuary.
Duomo Square
The main square in front of the Duomo is one of Milan’s busiest and most exciting areas. It leads on to some of Milan’s best shopping districts and dining areas.
Shopping - Gakkeria Vittorio Emanuele II
If anyone image symbolises Milan, it is this elegantly turned-out shopping mall between Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Scala. The Milanese use its grand glass domed rcades so much they call it their “living room”.
