Le Mans Classic The third Le Mans Classic will use the long 13.880 km circuit and will gather together some of the most beautiful cars from the history of the 24 Heures du Mans.
In total, there will be more than 350 participants from the Le Mans races between 1923 and 1978. The cars will be divided into six grids, each representing a different era. They will follow each other on the track, hour after hour, for 24 hours. The start of the race will take the form of a traditional Le Mans start. Each car will run four periods of 35 minutes, at different times of the day and night. Drivers can take part alone or share a car but they will also be gathered into teams. The principle of an endurance event will be maintained as the final result will not depend on a single driver but on a team. In keeping with tradition, the start will be on Saturday at 16:00 with the finish 24 hours later.
In addition to an exhibition of an array of wonderful cars, this international historic car meeting will also feature a parade of European Clubs on the long circuit and an auction of collectors' cars and automobilia.
