What is the Thomas Cook Sport Terrace?
This unique and informal hospitality area is exclusive to Thomas Cook Sport customers. Situated square of the wicket on the east side of the stadium, the Terrace has a ‘village green’ feel to it and offers a unique vantage point, right on the boundary rope. The Terrace opens 2 hours before start of play and stays open for 30 minutes after stumps with a cash bar, so you can make the most of this brilliant venue.
As well as access to the Terrace which offers comfortable sofa seating, picnic tables and parasols, you will receive a complimentary welcome drink, a picnic tea, access to an exclusive cash bar and a numbered seat in Grandstand A. During the game you are free to come and go from the Terrace as you please.
You will find the entrance to the Terrace directly behind Gate 5 on Brian Statham Way. When you arrive at the Terrace you will be welcomed by a Thomas Cook Sport host who will check your ticket and welcome you in to the area.
The Terrace opens 2 hours before the start of play and there’s a selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks available to purchase from the exclusive cash bar. Each guest will receive a complimentary welcome drink and a picnic tea.
As the game approaches, take a place on one of the comfortable sofas or picnic tables. Alternatively, take your seat in the Grandstand where you’ll have an unrestricted view of the game. The weather in Manchester can be changeable so we recommend bringing warm clothing and a waterproof jacket.
At the close of play you can continue to enjoy the facilities of the Terrace, where you can purchase drinks from the cash bar for up to 30 minutes after play ends.
There is no special dress code or age limit for the Thomas Cook Sport Terrace creating a relaxed, warm and friendly atmosphere ideal for fans of all ages.
